thomasboimahSure, That can be a user story, that i can work on12:33
thomasboimahBut that feature dose not exist for now12:33
reslthomasboimah: ok, I'll write it as a user story in the issue - that would be the way, right?12:33

reslthomasboimah: is the websterss bot on Gitlab or Codeberg? If Codeberg, can you invite me to join that project or team if needed? I'm https://codeberg.org/resl 12:50
reslthomasboimah: Isn't there a way for me to add an issue or task with a user story in such a way that it is directly associated with the particular project? I am able to do this for Business Tracker but for Little Webster, I just made it a task and gave it a LIttle Webster label hoping that would end up making sense to the developers.13:04

reslKara can facilitate tonight's meeting. Then Josh will facilitate next week's meeting. Then we will start the rotation from the beginning again (starting with Tony if I recall correctly) but have each facilitator for 4 meetings before switching to the next.21:55
reslIt would probably be good if everyone takes notes in the IRC instead of just one note-taker, but I will volunteer to take notes for tonight as a back up. Please everyone feel free to take notes in the chat if you see something missing from the notes that you think should be added.21:56
reslIn a minute, let's all put a +1 here in the chat for attendance.21:59

reslReports notes:22:04
reslKara installed a dual boot UBuntu on her Windows laptop. Library system app work happening. No blockers.22:04
reslAaron is blocking on his merge request being accepted but is working on more features in the meantime (I think?)22:05
reslTony was discussing issues with BUsiness TRacker and troubleshooting them so that we can accept Aaron's merge request and make the updated calendar views live. AMS work continues.22:06
reslJeff is in Liberia working on all kinds of things, including a curriculum sprint, so he can work with Kara next fall on OER resources; also roleplaying as a customer on TheBlog; is planning to attend the Tech Peer Network meeting if he can make it and the May First Outreach Engagement Committee meeting tomorrow. No blockers22:07
reslArya has been out of town but has been catching up with Kara on projects; plan is to continue helping with the library system app CSS and UI; just joined the Gitlab repo for the sociocracy app; no blockers22:08
reslSahnun recently pushed changes to the SJC site, updating member profiles and the navbar; next working on the donation flow; blocking because sjcompute.org is down.22:09
smohamudrachel - onboarding / offboarding. Lost an intern, Simon. Yolanda conversation. Convo with Kathryn Mulin (rogh spelling). Interested in using Decidim to promote solar commons project. Wants FOSS and is cool. Another Decidim meeting next week. No blockers.22:12
reslZonny has been working on establishing workflow with the Jetro team and getting everyone on the dev team on board and on the same page with goals for various projects;  finding the best way to stick to one workflow with checks and processes we all know to follow; Jetro team is taking good care of TheBlog; has updated or started the update for Django for LibreOrganize; working on the AMS with Tony; no blockers22:15
smohamudCan barely hear Thomas.22:16
reslThomas has been working on websites;  training new developers on the Jetro team; working on TheBlog for Jeff; planning to meet with Rachel? no blockers22:17
reslItem 2: Update on the AMS from Tony and Zonny - the work is tough at this moment because it is involving deciding about schemas for the database, but will be meeting soon with client; not much blocking - it's going all right22:20
reslNote: Arya is interested in learning about database management systems and SQL, perhaps in shadowing some of the brainstorming or troubleshooting during the engineering for the AMS; Tony, Arya, Zonny can follow up as needed22:21
reslItem 4: Report on 1st JWD spring from Jeff and the Jetro team22:23
reslThe JWD team and Jeff have been meeting and working together every day since Jeff arrived. Two groups formed: THomas, Jallah, Gabriel, and (who else?) - then Jeff, Freena, Janet, and Daniel just finished CSS and are learning Javascript/taking a certification course22:25
reslEstablish dev workflow and decide roles for devs and interns on each project22:26
reslSahnun suggests a separate meeting of the developers to decide on a workflow22:26
reslRachel asks if we can please make explicit in the group what the existing workflow is so we are at least on the same page with the current working process. It is helpful to have some process decided on in the meantime, regardless of how long it might take to deliberate on the final workflow that all the developers will consent to use for the foreseeable future.22:30
reslRachel asks if the Git Flow and that naming convention scheme for example is part of how we are working for the time being, based on the naming convention of recent branches in our repos22:32
reslsmohamud: or zOnny: or thomasboimah: If you can understand Jeff, please take notes here in the IRC of what he is saying. I'm struggling to understand him22:33
thomasboimahJeff is saying that the Jetro Team is learning the workflow, and they have already started learning with TheBlog on how to create a branch and work on it before merging to the main branch.22:36
jelknerThat's a great suggestion, Karaaaaa, a contrib file in the repo22:37
reslthomasboimah: thank you! That makes sense22:37
jelknerand nice way for new contributors to orient themselves22:37
reslTony says it is a good idea to have a separate meeting about workflows with the developers. Sahnun says for now, everyone branches off of main to make a new feature or address an issue, and then pushes to main, then someone else on the project reviews the changes before accepting the merge22:40
